A personal radiation dosimeter and monitoring device is a device used to measure and record the dose of ionizing radiation an individual is exposed to and to monitor radiation levels in real time. Such devices are widely used in the nuclear industry, medical treatment, scientific research, emergency response and other fields to help ensure the safety of workers and comply with radiation protection regulations.

For example, an electronic personal dosimeter (EPD) continuously monitors and alerts the user through sound, vibration or light when a preset threshold is reached, making it ideal for rapid response in high-risk environments. It can also record data for later analysis and compliance checks.
