The organic solvent recovery system is a device specially used to recover organic solvents from industrial waste gas, waste liquid or other solvent-containing mixtures. It is of great significance to improve resource utilization, reduce production costs and reduce environmental pollution in many industries such as chemical, pharmaceutical, printing, and electronics.

From the working principle, the common recovery method is distillation. By utilizing the difference in boiling points of different substances, the mixture containing organic solvents is heated to a specific temperature to vaporize the organic solvent, and then the steam is cooled and condensed into a liquid state to achieve separation from other substances, thereby achieving the purpose of recovering organic solvents. For example, in the printing industry, after the mixed solvent waste gas enters the distillation equipment, the organic solvents such as toluene and xylene are vaporized successively by precisely controlling the heating temperature, and then cooled by the condenser tube, and these organic solvents are turned into liquid again and collected. Adsorption is also a commonly used principle. Using highly adsorbable materials such as activated carbon and molecular sieves, the organic solvents in the mixed gas or liquid are adsorbed on its surface. When the adsorption reaches a certain level, the organic solvent is released again by desorption by heating and reducing pressure, thereby achieving recovery. For example, in chemical production, waste gas containing organic solvents is passed through an adsorption tower filled with activated carbon, and the organic solvents in the waste gas are adsorbed by the activated carbon. The purified gas is discharged, and then the adsorbed activated carbon is heated and desorbed to recover the organic solvents.

The organic solvent recovery system is mainly composed of a pretreatment unit, a recovery unit and a post-treatment unit. The function of the pretreatment unit is to preliminarily treat the raw materials containing organic solvents, remove impurities, particulate matter, etc., to prevent them from damaging the subsequent recovery equipment or affecting the recovery effect. For example, in the pharmaceutical industry, the waste liquid containing organic solvents is filtered through a filter to remove solid impurities. The recovery unit is the core part, and according to the different recovery methods adopted, corresponding equipment such as distillation towers and adsorption towers are equipped. The post-treatment unit refines the recovered organic solvent, removes residual impurities, and improves its purity so that it can meet the requirements for reuse. At the same time, the waste gas and waste residues generated during the recovery process are treated to ensure compliance with environmental emission standards.
