Desiccant rotors are the key components in dehumidifiers for absorbing moisture. They are usually made of corrugated media composed of special composite heat - resistant materials, which carry desiccants such as high - efficiency activated silica gel and molecular sieves. This structural design is compact and provides a large dehumidification surface. The desiccant rotor is divided into two zones by a partition containing highly sealed packing. One is a 270 - degree sector area for the process air end, and the other is a 90 - degree sector area for the regeneration air end. When the humid air is blown towards the rotor by the fan, the rotor adsorbs the moisture in the air and then sends the dry air back to the room. The rotor that has absorbed the moisture moves to the regeneration zone, and the high - temperature regeneration air sent in the opposite direction removes the moisture, enabling the rotor to work continuously.
