The battery internal resistance analyzer is a device specifically used to measure the internal resistance of a battery. In the use and research of batteries, the internal resistance of a battery is a key parameter that directly affects the performance, life and safety of the battery. The battery internal resistance analyzer can accurately measure this parameter and provide an important basis for the evaluation and application of the battery.

Its working principle is mainly based on Ohm's law and the AC impedance method. According to Ohm's law, resistance is equal to voltage divided by current. This method is simple and intuitive, but the measurement accuracy is relatively low and there is a certain loss to the battery. As mentioned above, the AC impedance method internal resistance analyzer measures the battery internal resistance by applying AC signals of different frequencies, which can provide richer internal information of the battery and has high measurement accuracy, but the equipment is relatively complex and the cost is also high. The pulse method internal resistance analyzer uses short pulse current to excite the battery and measures the voltage change during the pulse to calculate the internal resistance. It combines some advantages of the DC discharge method and the AC impedance method, has the characteristics of fast measurement speed and high accuracy, and is suitable for occasions with high measurement speed requirements.
